About me

I'm Ivan, a mechanical design engineer. I work on CAD modeling and technical development, but I also enjoy coding and exploring niches.
I’m really into skill toys. Kendama is my main focus now, but yoyoing has been a big part of my life for years. I got my first yoyo in primary school, then upgraded to better models in high school, and over time, my collection grew to well over 100.
I also enjoy movies of all genres, sports like snowboarding, ski touring, cycling, and swimming, and reading books, comics, and blogs.

About this blog

I taught myself how to code, and in May 2021, I started a blog about hardware projects under the nickname rookiebwoy.
Until 2025, that’s where I published most of my projects. You can still check it out at rookiebwoy.eu.
It was a great learning experience, but over time, I felt the nickname was limiting. I wanted a space that felt more personal, where blogging and project development could coexist. That’s how ivndbt was born.
I still don't know what this blog will turn into. Nor where it'll take me. Maybe once I'll populate it with some articles, its traiectory will start making sense.
